Clean, neat cover from Moate to Dublin, bearing 1d. Red-brown on blued paper with good to huge margins, cancelled with a superb strike of a GREEN MALTESE CROSS. 'MOATE MY 23 1843' (dispatch) datestamp on the reverse in the same olive-green colour and also a red Dublin (receiving) datestamp.
