THE VICKERS-VIMY FLIGHT.
Two RAF Officers, Capt. John Alcock as pilot and Lt. Arthur Whittem Brown (signature at top left hand corner) as navigatop made the first non-stop flight across the Atlantic, leaving Lester's Field, St. Johns, landing near Clifden Ireland, in a bog eixteen hours, twelve minutes later. A total of one hundred and ninely-seven items were carried, all air mail for London and was backstamped 17 Jine (backstamped "London - EC 17 June 19" on arrival).
