David Brandon formed the company way back in 1962 from an office above his Father’s confectioners shop in South London. He became a member of the P.T.S. in 1962 and finally resigned in 2004. Mr. Brandon’s passion and eye for quality rare postage stamps ensured that the business grew rapidly and in 1975 this was transferred to a superb retail position in the Strand, London. Which, in those days was a ‘Mecca’ for philatelists. Mr. Brandon sold this Strand shop in 1987

Mark Brandon left the shores of the UK in 2003 and now trades the 'Brandon Galleries' & Investment divisions of the company from his location in Gibraltar.
